So half of my team was fired very recently - odd given that the whole promotion thing is still on the table. But what's really bad is that 2 days after they were fired (that would be today) "they" decide to hand out piles of free games at work. I got 8. How bitter would you be if you were laid off because they didn't have enough money left in the budget to pay you and then very shortly thereafter a couple of thousand dollars worth of video games were given away just because.
In other news, I stumbled across the "Baby Got Back" music video one one of the servers at work today. I am a happy camper. If they had "Humpty Dance" as well I don't think I'd get any work done at all.
i would be bitter. just don't tell anyone who actually got laid off. or maybe score some extra video games and pass them along as a consolation prize. i wish there was a baby got back music video on my server - i ain't got shit to do.
